Louisville, KY — Booker for the Commonwealth filed its pre-primary FEC report, showing continued fundraising growth and a deepening organic grassroots coalition in the final weeks before the May 19 Democratic primary for U.S. Senate.

The campaign raised $140,318 between April 1 and April 29, 2026, bringing cycle-to-date receipts to more than $508,000. The campaign closed the reporting period with $140,309 cash on hand, positioning Charles Booker to compete through Election Day.

“This report tells the story of a movement for working people from different backgrounds that’s built to win,” said Charles Booker. “From Pikeville to Paducah, Kentuckians are showing up for a campaign that puts working families and people from all different types of backgrounds first. We’re building the kind of coalition it takes to flip this seat and finally give Kentucky the representation it deserves.”

Highlights from the pre-primary report:

  • $140,318 raised in the pre-primary window
  • $508,683 raised cycle-to-date
  • $140,309 cash on hand at close of reporting period
  • Contributions from donors across all 50 states, the strongest support from Kentucky
  • Institutional backing from labor, including the Communications Workers of America and the Laborers’ International Union of North America

Booker continues to lead the Democratic primary field in public polling and remains the clear frontrunner heading into the final two weeks of the race. The campaign’s fundraising is powered overwhelmingly by small-dollar grassroots donors, reflecting the broad and growing coalition Booker has assembled across Kentucky.
